Okay, I have like 5 minutes, so here it goes.
Friday night as some of you know I started having contractions about 10 minutes apart, well that continued. Saturday night the pain started but it was still 10 minutes apart. Sunday night my husband and I had sex. As soon as it was over contractions went from 7-8 apart to 4-7. I waited an hour. As the contractions went on I felt pressure like I had to poo, cramps, and back pain. I called and they said to go in. That was at midnight. We got there about 1 am monday morning. The contractions were 3-5 minutes apart, but weren't that bad. The doctor (not mine) came in and said that I was 3 cm and there was lots of pressure on my cervix. He said to rest and my Dr. Would be in at 7 am. Well I tried to sleep but couldn't. At 7 my Dr. Came in and checked me. He said that I was 1 cm! what???? I told him the other one said 3 and he said that their fingers were different sizes (that's true, my doctor's known for gigantic fingers). He also said that my cervix was very high, he almost couldn't reach it. I don't know what happened, but it was opposite what the other Dr. Said. We were very discouraged.
He said that we'd start pitocin in about an hour. Well by then the contractions were farther apart. They started the pitocin and nothing! They increased it and still nothing. Increased it again and still nothing! My body was doing opposite what it was suppose to. In 6 hours I had 10 contractions that weren't even close to what I had been feeling the night before. I was getting discouraged. They prepped me for a section just in case. At 2 p.M. My Dr. Came in and said that my chances of delivering vaginally were decreasing by the minute. He said that he'd send me home b/c we were fine or do a section. He said that I could go home and wait for labor to start up again, but in his prof. Opinion that would never happen. He left it up to me and of course I chose the section. He came back 2 hours later and did the epi. He couldn't get it through b/c he said I have some of the strongest ligaments he'd ever seen. So, lucky me I got the damn epi twice!!!! He had to redo it. He ended up coming to my room the next morning and said that he'd of had to do a section anyway b/c she was chin up not chin down. Big like she was, he wouldn't of been able to deliver her chin up. Thankfully I didn't have to go through true labor and a section.
At 5:41 p.M. Ava was finally born. The c-section was strange. I didn't want to talk or anything. I felt funny. I cried my eyes out when I kissed her then my husband went with her to the nursery.
I needed to be relaxed with demorol or however you spell it b/c I was moving around so much. I was very uncomfortable. I went to recovery for 30 minutes and then went to my room. They had about 25 people there to greet me. It was so weird.
They brought her about an hour later and she started nursing right away. She latched on like a pro. She feed every 2 hours while we were there. We got home yesterday at noon. She didn't sleep last night, so my mom had to come over at 3 am to take over so we could get some sleep. We had a ridiculous amount of visitors so I might have sleep 10 hours in 5 days.
I've been constantly nursing, having visitors, trying to take care of myself, eat, etc. I can't sleep. The cycle continues.
I broke down at the pediatrician today b/c feeding her every 2-3 hours is too hard for us.
So, i'm pumping and rotating breastmilk and formula. I think that'll work.
My husband is my hero. Without his help, I don't know what i'd do.
I'm going shower right now. I'm trying to get around, but the cut burns. Thank the good lord for perocets!
That's it for now. More pictures later!

Geez... Our stories are so similar! My induction didn't really take either and he was face up and too big to come down. Unlike you, though, i've gotten plenty of sleep. My painkillers knock me out and finn sleeps constantly, only waking to eat every 3 hours. Take it easy, try to rest so you can heal. I'm still so sore, I feel like my incision may have opened on the let side. It hurts so bad to move!

Can't wait to see more pics!

Oh sweetheart. If you need rest, don't be ashamed to turn visitors away. Trust me, they should understand! You've been through serious physical trauma and you have a brand new baby girl that you need to get acquainted with. You need to get rested! I remember those sleep-deprived nights, and would not wish that on my worst enemy. Things that you could normally handle will have you breaking down in tears. You don't need a breakdown on top of everything else!

*hugs*

.Honestly, limit visits to 10 minutes or so, turn off your ringer, and focus on your recovery and new family! Visitors can wait!

I was still in the hospital when I had my first breakdown. I had only had five hours of sleep within two days, had given birth, and had spent all night with .Aly who was crying the whole time. I refused for them to take her to the nursery because I wanted to be the one to comfort her.

When they told me she was gassy I became hysterical. I kept thinking I was a terrible mother and was crying and apologizing to .Aly saying I didn't mean to hurt her. The nurses thought .I'd lost my mind! They ended up giving me an option: taking her to the nursery for a few hours so I could sleep, or sleep meds and an extra day in the hospital Crying or Very sad

Now that she's getting pumped breastmilk and formula, we slept 9 hours last night on and off. It felt good. For most of it she slept on me on the recliner. I don't care what I said before about not having her sleep with me, it's the best!
Pictures are coming soon. I'm feeling great!
I can wipe my own butt now~ lmao!
