Hi,

i have found a small lump on the right hand side of my jaw line. It is under the skin so it cannot be seen and it came on very suddenly. I have had it before a couple of years ago but it went away. It is not fixed to anything and I can move it about a little. It does hurt and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger but it also is not going away.

It is only on my right hand side and is quite hard (i cannot squeeze it). I have been suffered from a cold recently and my job is very stressful. Could these be the reasons for it and what is it?
Should I be worried?
Any advise before I go to a doc would be great.

I have a lump under my jaw line which is painful. I get headches on the same side as the lump benind the right eye. My jaw is clicking in and out aswell sometimes which is really uncompfortable. I am 8 weeks pregnant and unsure what this is

I have something similar and was told it is a salvitory stone and to drink lots of water, sour candies and limit salt. If that doesn't help to see an ENT

imelda about your jaw clicking in and out that sounds like tmj! i have the same prob and iam at the minute seeing a specialist

What is tmj? My jaw clicks and cracks off and on- I was thinking I should maybe go see a chiropractor or something??? Does it cause dizziness???

tmj is to do with your joints in your jaw called temporomandibular joint there is all differant kind of symptoms for it the most popular been the clicking and poping in your jaw joints also the stiff achy feeling you can get i went to see my dentist who was no good so went to my family doctor if its causing you pain id go see your doctor

i have an abrasion in the form of a cyst in my gums for almost 3 years now...i thought it was an abrasion from my dental checkup..but few daya ago the cyst is gone..i'm afraid that it'll lead to something dangerous. Now there's this weird slightly lump along my inner jawline and it feels like it's attached to my jaw coz it doesnt roll around my finger..can anyone tell me what is this?

i also have a lump on the right jaw line right next to my ear and im 18 years old and along with i have frequent nosebleeds. i brushed them off because of the cold weather but since moving away for college ive had them at least once or twice a week and even when im home its frequent im not sure what is any help?

I''m not sure if this could be the problem but there''s a possibility you could have a swollen lymph node. I have a swollen ball, and it feels like it''s inside or on the line of my jaw. There are some lymph nodes(part of the lymphatic system) located there and throughout your body also next to your ear. They can swell up at times when you are sick or have some sort of virus because it helps fight for your body. I have one on my right jawline, but it''s not really a bother unless I push on it. I hope this helps.

i have a lump in my jaw lining it feels like theres a hard rock there? its really painful just to open my mouth, i have a sensitive tooth if i accidently bump it it sets my jaw off and it starts throbbing. im not sure if its serious theres tiny little things (they look like pimples) on the roof of my mouth! does anyone know what this is ?

i found a lump under my right jaw line i had a bad tooth so i just called it an infection lump but it did not go away. I went to see my family doctor and he sent me for tests. i have no pain but i do have 2 tumors that i will be having removed on Thursday. Please go see a doctor.

Hey i also have a lump under my jawline and its only on my left side.i just discovered it today but i was already feeling the pain from it yesterday.i have also just started to get sneezy with a runny nose yesterday?could that be related to this lump? the lump feels like a ball and it doesnt seem to be attached to anything and when i touch it it moves around and its abit painful.im not sure what to do whether i should see a doc or not coz what if its nothing? but what if its something? any one got any advice?if so that would be a great help Smile

Jawline lump
My wisdom tooth on my left side on the bottom has been hitting the past few days and has been causing my whole left side of my jaw to hurt and throb and when I rub my fingers on my inner jawline I can feel a little lump that is sensitive to the touch. I'm not sure what it is and was hoping someone could tell me. If it doesn't go away should I see a doctor?

lump under jaw/ tooth infection
I've had a bad tooth, now I have a lump under my jaw(my cheek is swollen)I finished a regiment of antibiotics last week.
Anyone have this same experience, if you answer it will let me know that I'll survive too...haha
