My girlfriend had a yeast infection about 6 to 8 months ago. She took a pill for it presribed and that did not take it away. A couple months passed and she was given a insertion for it. Don't know the name of it however. Another 2 months passed and then it was finally done at the doctors office and it seemed to be cleared up. The problem is that she has the discharge again. Everytime she went to the doctors she was tested for a yeast infection and it was positive. Besides the discharge other symptoms include pressure on bladder, feeling like she has to pee even though she already did, and pain in the lower abdomen. She was tested months back for the common std's associated with those symptoms. Ghonnorea, chlamydia, and syphillis (please excuse the misspellings). The doctors did not call with a negative report however I believe if it were positive then they would be required to tell. She was just recently tested for urinary track infection because that seemed like it could be it but that came back negative as well. Any ideas or thoughts on this? Her appointment won't be for awhile but I would like to give her some kind of answer that is more positive than what she thinks. I know diagnosing is hard over the internet but any input is appreciated.
