Stroke Answer A1844
A stroke is a cerebrovascular accident (bleeding or infarct in the brain) and can not be detected with an electro-cardio-graph (ECG). Strokes can be detected via neurological examination and a CT-scan or MRI of the head. An ECG can detect a heart attack (myocardial infarct).
