Hi, I just had sex with my bf last night and it worries me now as last night it was supposed to be my last day of my mensus. I heard that it is safe for a guy to ejaculate their sperm into the female body during this period of time but after when my bf shoot his stuff into me, I kinda get worried now.

Can I have some quick advice on this and what are the ways to make sure that I am not going to get pregnant?

Thanks

worried lady

It is never safe to allow a man to ejaculate in you.

If you're worried, I suggest you get the morning after pill immediately.

Why is it not safe to allow a man to ejaculate in me?

Will there be any side effects on consuming the morning after pill that you are referring to?

It isn't safe to let a man ejaculate inside of you because of the chances of stds.

Their is no possible way to tell when you are ovulating. Sperm is viable within your body for up to several days and within that time you could release an egg and it can become fertalized. You can get pregnant at any time of your cycle!

Unless you want a baby use the pill or condoms. If you decide to get the morning after pill you should do so as soon as possible after the 'incident' to reduce you risk of pregnancy.

(make sure that all letters are lower-case to ensure the link works)

bottom line: if you don't want to get pregnant, use protection. There is no "magic day" that unprotected sex is okay.

I am really really very confused. I really dunno if I am pregnant, and if I am, I am not certain if I want to keep the baby as I am not prepared emotionally and financially.

Can I don't take the morning after pill and just buy those pregnancy tester first for checking. Even if I decided not to have the baby, can I go for abortion? Will that be more safer? Cos I am worried if I take the pill, I will not be able to conceive again.

Please help!!

The morning after pill is much safer than abortion.

The morning after pill is for use upto 72 hours after unprotected sex - the quicker you take it the better it's chances of preventing pregnancy are.

If you wait until you can take a pregnancy test - that's when your next period would be due - it will be too late to prevent it.

If you want information on abortion please scroll down and go the the abortion forum - abortion posts in here will be removed.

The morning after pill is actually a lot safer than an abortion. The most common morning after pill is called "plan b". You can usually get it at a local planned parenthood, or health clinic. In some cases you may get it from a pharmacists as well.
In some people there are side effects, but with the plan b, it is usually a bit of nausea, but that’s it. In this forum, I would not really recommend getting an abortion. Besides abortions are a lot more painful, and strenuous on your health. I would recommend the pill asap, for it may not be as effective, as the days pass.
We are not here to judge you, but you might want to invest in some birth control, so you don’t have to worry about getting pregnant. Sperm will not hurt you, but it is just more safe for you to use condoms. If you are fully aware of your partner and his lifestyle, and know that you are the only one he is sleeping with, having him ejaculate is your preference. Just make sure that you are fully protected birth control wise, but even on the pill it is not 100% effective. Good luck with your decision. Take care of yourself. Smile -corie
