I HAVE!!! Holy crap, what ever you do get off Lutera!! It also caused my boobs to swell, then I gained 15 lbs for no reason. Then my skin got really clear, but also thinner and more delicate, so I started to have cellulite on my thighs (which never happens since I'm a runner. It also caused me to have mood swings. Not normal mood swings as in I was overly sensitive, but normally it takes a lot to make me angry and when I get angry I'm very articulate and thoughtful about what I say. After I'd been on Lutera for a month, every time I would get upset at my boyfriend I would EXPLODE at him. My friends and family got really worried because they said it was really out of character, but after I switched BC (after 6 mos of trying to figure out what was wrong with me), my mood swings stopped. Lutera also killed my sex drive. I normally have a really strong one, and once I was on Lutera sex was the last thing on my mind. This happened after about 3 mos on the pill. I thought it was just stress from college, but then I signed on the message boards and saw that A LOT of girls have these exact same problems. This pill is f-ed UP!!!! There's a reason its generic and I don't think it should be available to anyone!

I am so glad I found this chat because I have experience the same as you pedauque23. I have gained 15lbs for absolutely no reason and I have been on this pill for only 3 months. I have also had wild mood swings about the end of the 2nd week of pills. I am SO glad I am not alone in this. What type of bc did you switch to? and how do you like them now? I am thinking about the IUD because there are hardly any side effects.
