So, I was basically just wondering if anyone knows if .G.U.M clinics can put you on the pill or some thing similar??

The reason is that I have really long, heavy periods which I hate and get bad cramping. Any other suggestions?

But is this one of those places where you can remain annonymous cos I don't really want my parents to know...They'll just get the wrong end of the stick and flip it.

Yeah its completely anonymous. U don't even have to give your really name. I've went there a few times to get the morning after pill and it was them that fitted my coil.

U don't need an appointment either I just walked in and got it fitted. They have drop in clinics with male and female doctors. Its fantastic!

your .G.P is obligated to confidentiality too so your parents need never know if you go and see him/her.

Yep, I know that but I know all the doctors at my local surgery so i'd rather not go to them...Plus, most of them are men and i'd prefer to talk to a woman Smile

Thanks for the tip though Wink and on second thoughts I think i'll most likely go to a gum clinic cos I know there's one that's near enough for me to get to by myself, without venturing on unknown bus routes etc lol and it doesn't look like there are any brook clinics near me...
