I am thinking of using a nitric oxide supplement, but am worried about the effects it could have on my heart. I work out 3-5 times a week, and get my heart rate up a bit, and I do do some cardio work (but with a torn ACL, waiting for surgery ) its not to intense. I have had some pain in my chest, but it feels lower and to the left of my heart. No problems with pain in arms, neck, no problems breathing, ect as usual with heart problems. My father has had two splints put in, and an uncle has had a heart attack, so I know it runs in my family. Is this pain something I should get checked out, and is taking this nitric oxide (naNOx9) supplement a smart choice? Thanks for any info/sugestions.
