I'm still having contractions since friday night. They've been consistently 10 minutes apart since last night. Well now it's more like 8 minutes apart. How long can this last?? I've been feeling discomfort and back pain since last night. I thought I passed the rest of my mucus plug last night, but this morning there was alot more. I'm feeling so tired b/c I couldn't sleep with the darn contractions. I just wish they'd get to 5 minutes apart or just stop. My doctor's inducing tomorrow night or tuesday morning anyway.
Since they've been consistent and have been having discomfort since last night am I in early labor or something? Is it ever gonna pick up?? I know you don't know the answer to this one, but that's what I keep wondering. It's so aggravating to walk around with a watch, paper, and a pen 24/7.

Well, this probably won't help much, but your induction might take better since you've been having contractions on your own. I bet once that pitocin hits your system, your labor takes off!

I wasn't having any kind of contractions on my own, and the pitocin took a full day to take effect and really do stuff!

I know it doesn't help to hear it, but it will be over before you know it. I had contractions like that for a few days before they decided to induce me, so I have definitely been there. The upside is that the pitocin will most likely work much better and faster because your body is ready! You will be holding that baby in your arms in no time!

Well I hope so. Just when I decide to stop timing and just lay down or do something, they get closer or hurt more, then stop. It's like it's playing tricks on me. Lol my doctor's appointment isn't until 4 p.M. Tomorrow. Hopefully I end up at the hospital before then. Tomorrow's my dad's ex-wife's birthday and my cousin's birthday, so my mom keeps reminding me of that like I can change it. If she comes on tuesday my dad's going to work on tuesday for 2 weeks. He's dying to see her. He wasn't able to be there when I was born and was hoping to be there when she was born. It makes me so sad that he probably won't be there. Crying or Very sad
