I didn't have any lower back pain until I was about 17-18 wks (almost half way thru my pregnancy.) I don't know about anyone else, but as far as me, your information is inacurate. Alot of ppl put pregnancy symtoms in their heads when they *think* they could be or *want* to be. But I don't really know, i'm not a doctor Smile .

I *still* am not experiencing much lower back pain &.I'm 21wks. I don't think it's a real early pregnancy symptom.. I can't think of a reason why your lower back would be aching if you're only like 8wks pregnant, ya know?

Lots of things can cause lower back pain- early pregnancy is probably at the bottom of the list.

If it is causing you concern I would go and see the doctor about it

For me, lower back pain meant my period was coming.

*shrug*

.I didn't experience it at all during pregnancy until 25 weeks.

Lower Back Pain
I'm 11 weeks and have lower back pain. I wouldn't call it a symptom thou. When you prego your more subseptable to many things, like pulled mucle, bad posture, illness, etc. Because your body first takes care of your unborn child. This is my 4th pregnancy and i'm 26. Back has been bugging me.

I have always had very problemmatic back problems. I am 19 weeks along and my back only hurts now if I spend a lot of time at my desk using the computer without getting up to stretch.

Yeah, the rest of the ladies are right. Lower back pain can be a symptom, but not until late pregnancy when the baby is putting on more weight thatn you Smile I am 36 weeks and my back pain only started a month or two ago.

umm...don't listen to these ladies who do not have any backpain until the baby crowns! I have been pregnant 3 times and all three times I had lower back pain in the first few weeks. That has always been one of my first signs of pregnancy. and when i say first few weeks i mean 3.5 weeks to 4 weeks. and the pain does feel differently than AF back pain!
