Ok, im 19 and my wisdom teeth have been coming in for some time now.
Something that I have been noticeing is that as they start breaking through my gums there is like an open space all around them, and stuff is getting down the crevice between my tooth and my gums. It is really disgusting and it really hurts sometimes. If I try pushing on my tooth all this stuff comes out and it smells awful, it really reminds me of the tonsil stones I used to get. It smells almost exactly the same. I brush my teeth 2 to 3 times a day and rinse with mouth wash too. But I cant understand why this stuff is building up between my gums and my wisdom teeth. Its really gross and really uncomfortable at times, if you can imagine getting something lodged between your teeth and gums. But my question is, is this normal? And does messing with it and pushing the stuff out a bad thing? Im really confused. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
