Q: What Would You Do..?(hypothetical)

If you found out you were unexpectedly (and unwantedly) pregnant, and you were told that this would be the only baby you could possibly have, what would you do? This is right now, with your current circumstances.

This is more a question for those who would usually abort.

Would knowing you would not be able to have more children in the future make you change your mind and keep the baby?

depending on the circumstances and if the father was around I would have kept it considering I didnt already have children.

Now if I was a teenager and had school to finish I would have aborted and adopted later on!

i wanted to comment , but I think I will not be able to be objective with my answer, no pregnancy would be unexpected for me at this poit.

Good question.

This is a hard one. I gave birth recently, and my daughter is still very young (12 weeks old). We did not want another child for a few years, but if it was our last chance, I would continue the pregnancy. I do think it would be very stressful on my body though, because I still have not fully recovered from my last pregnancy.

aya it can be for some people I had carried cam to term without waiting the full year although I love my son to death I hate the acid reflux I suffer now. Although I will say he was worth it!

In regards I would probally have another one although it could make me really sick unless the dr saw a need for mecial termination I wouldnt but I think if I got pregnant again I may have had too!

if I knew for certain that I would never be able to have another child, and I accidentally became pregnant, I would keep it. However, i'd prefer (if I had previous knowledge of this debilitating condition) to plan out that one pregnancy.

Still, if somehow, because of the unplanned pregnancy, I was now going to be infertile, I think I would keep it. It would be hard, but that would be the only child I could ever have of my own body. I think i'd adopt in the future, so s/he would have a sibling.

But, first I would discuss this with the father. I feel that in situations where the woman wants to keep the child, she should talk to the father and discuss their options. I think my boyfriend would be okay with keeping the child, but I would want him in on the desicion.

after I got input from dad, and saw a doctor for a second opinion, and perhaps a third (dr's are people, too!) I would carefully weigh what I want out of life and what I think I might want out of life in the future.

just out of interest, would you change your mind and abort if your boyfriend wanted you to?

he wouldn't, as he is somewhat pro-life. But if I was with a different man (but that makes it no longer my current situation) I would find out why exactly he didn't want me to have the baby. It'd be a very long discussion, and hopefully i'd be able to convince him to let us keep it. I'd also want to gt married, for the child's sake. Otherwise... If he's my boyfriend, i'd leave him, I think, if he was going to leave me for giving birth. I would not ask for child support, I do not believe that would be fair in this situation.

I'd abort. If I wanted children in the future then there's adoption but, at this point in my life I don't think I would abort a pregnancy as it wouldn't really be unwanted
