Q: Norco and Urine test
asked by: DoctorQuestion on November 3rd, 2006
I am / was taking 3 10/325 Norco a day. I tested negative for Norco thru a urine test. My pain management Dr. says I am not taking the Norco and refuses to treat my pain any more. Is it possible to take Norco for 3 years on a daily basis and test negative within 12 hours of taking the last dose?

Pain Management Answer A1782
Norco is a trade mark for the combination of 2 painkillers: acetaminophen and hydrocodone. It is not possible for these 2 drugs to be completely excreted from the body in 12 hours. You may do another blood and urine test.
