I've had this for a while, but I never really cared about it until now. For at least 4-5 years I have had this hard lump near my collar bone. It is extremely mobile (not usually associated with cancer) I can pull it down infront of my collar bone (where it usually resides, or push it up behind my collarbone) I can also push it back and forth in the other directions. If it were a swollen lymphnode: 1 I don't think it would be swollen for years, and 2 the location of the lymphnodes are behind the collar bone and the fact this lump resides infront doesn't suggest it's a hardened lymphode 3 a lymphnode wouldn't be able to move up and over the collar bone and go behind it and back infront of it correct? Everything looks like it should be a benign growth, it hasn't changed in size at all. I'm going to have it looked at by my family doc just in case, but am I wrong in thinking it sounds like a benign growth?
