Well I am on birth control pills and I have not missed not one day. But the thing is that I had sex on sunday then the thing was that I was on the last 7pills of the pack and on sunday the day that I had sex was the beggining of the last 7. And I always get my period in the last 7 pills and it's already the third day and I should have gotten my period yesterday so this means I am 1 day late.
But there is also another thing I went to the doctor on monday and I got a injection and also I have been taking antibiotics for infection could this have something to do with my period? Please help I am really concerned

Do you mean three days ago, .Sunday?

If so, you wouldn't be pregnant yet. It takes 10-14 days for an egg to get fertilized, make the trip to your uterus, and set up shop. It would not have stopped your period.

yes it was this sunday so what if it doesn't come should I go to the doctor or something?

So if I continue to take my birth controls is there still a chance that I could be pregnant? Because like it's not that I don't want to have kids it's just I really need to finish high school I mean i'm not ready to have a baby because i'm still too young i'm 16

no, but it could have something to do with the effectiveness of your birth control. I don't know much about the pill since i've never been on it but I do know that some antibiotics mess with the pill. Hopefully someone else can elaborate on that for you.

Yes, see your doctor.
It is common for teenage girls to skip periods and it is common for women on the pill to get very light periods or to skip them.

How long have you been on anti biotics? Some of them mess with the pill, if yours does your doctor should have notified you and told you to use a back up method until 7 days after you have finished the anti biotics.

I have been on antibiotics for 2 days
but can there be like a big possibilty that I could be pregnant?

There is always a "possibility" as even when used 100% correctly the pill is only 99% effective.

That said it is very unlikely.
Ovulation typically occurs approx 14 days before your period and the pill usually prevents ovulation anyway.

Even so from sex on sunday to now you wouldn't actually be pregnant yet anyway as it takes 6-10 days for the egg to get fertilised and get to your uterus and implant.

So do I think you are pregnant - not really
do I know if you are pregnant - hell no idea - take a test hunni
