Well I know there have been lots of posts on names lately, but I wanted to know what people thought of my number one choice right now. It is .Avery .Makenna. I keep changing my mind, what if I decide on a name and then stop liking it when she's 4 months or something? Did anyone stop liking the name they picked? I know it's jumping the gun with adoption plans still being a possibility, and because I had my scan at 16 weeks where he wasn't positive on the gender (but I have a scan tomorrow and should know for sure!). My other name options are below if anyone has an opinion about any of those.

Thea, sage, sophia, rowan, paisley, nadia, makenna, jamie, josie, brynn, anneliese, avery

thanks!

I love makenna and avery together, in both orders (avery makenna, and makenna avery), but I sort of wanted a name that had a special meaning. Avery means elf ruler Confused Makenna is the feminine version of mckenna which means son of handsome, cause kenna means handsome. I thought those meanings were sort of icky, but I love the names.

Then again my name means queen of the fairies. Well tatiana does, and that is where tanya comes from. I'ld be queen of the fairies and my baby would be ruler of the elves... Lame. But I love the names! I don't know what to do cause they don't have a special meaning. Was the meanings important to you guys when you picked names?

Claudia, if you don't mind I don't feel like going into it. No rudeness intended but i've really tired myself out with constantly talking/thinking/dealing with this adoption thing. I just need a break. Crying or Very sad

I think the meaning should have some importance most definately! And that is cute ruler of the elves. Claudia means lame or crippled and I always thought it was halarious my parents must of never looked into the meaning because who would want to name there kid. Melina means honey, which I just think is really cute. So everytime I see something with a bee or a jar of honey on it that is baby oriented I have to get it.

That's cute. You can call her "bee" as a pet name. My friends name is cameron and it means "bent nose". I thought it was funny.

Jayden:- variant of jaden.
Jaden:- a recent coinage, possibly a form of jadon or an elaboration of jade.
Jadon:- means "thankful" in hebrew. This name is borne by a minor character in the old testament.
Jade:- simply means "jade" from the name of the precious stone that is often used in carvings. It is probably derived from the spanish (piedra de la) ijada meaning "(stone of the) colic", relating to the belief that jade could cure colic.

Which names are you referring to .Becks?

Incidentally, st stephen is the patron saint of horses. Stephanie is the feminine of stephen. Saggitarius is the centaur - half man half horse. I was born in the chinese year of the horse... Anyone see a theme here yet?
