I live in a lot a fear of having another ear infection because I had so many of them as a child. I have tinnitus in my ears as a result of so many infections and I do have extensive hearing loss in my left ear because of it.

I know there is nothing that can be done about the tinnitus but I am constantly experiencing these sharp pains in my ears that last a couple minutes or seconds then go away. There is no infection.

Does the tinnitus cause this? I've been to so many doctors and nobody can give me an answer. Please just tell me what u think. I just want to know i'm not crazy
