I'm Sorry But I Have to Ask.

Okay, let me give you my spill. I am very
new to this so please bear with me. My
husband and i, for the first time in our
lives, aren't exactly doing very good at
not trying to get pregnant. That's fine
with me. I want a child. Well, about two
and a half weeks ago, I started having
problems with nausea. This was about two
weeks before my period was supposed to
start. About a week or week and a half
later. My boob got extremely sore. I
also had some bad cramp-like feelings,
somtimes around my ovaries. I just feel
different. I have still been getting
nauseous, along with hot flashes and being
tired. I am peeing a little more often.
Well, right now my period is four days
late, which has never happened to me. I
have taken two tests-one saturday
afternoon and one sunday morning. They
both came up negative. If my period
doesn't start, when do you guys suggest
that I try taking another one, or should I
just go get a blood test? You guys have
to know a little more. Like I said, very
new to this.
I would appreciate any comments.

First off, i'm afraid you wouldn't
experience nausea 2 weeks before your
period is due as this is around the time
you would ovulate and concieve. The sore
boobs may just be pmt signs.
However, now that you are late for your
period there is a chance you could
be pregnant.
You may not have enough hcg in your urine
yet to be detected or you just may be late
for other reasons.
I would take a test again in a few days if
your period still doesn't turn up and if
it is still negative you could go to your
doctor and request a blood test as these
are more accurate.
Good luck!

I wouldn't have thought the nausea counted
either, but I talked to my mom and she
said that's when she started getting with
all three of us. That's why I included
that in there. I know it sounds weird. I
feel so stupid. I am a nursing student
and I know the facts, but I also know that
my body is just weird sometimes.

Yeah I would wait and do another test in a
few days and see what happens.
All the best.

U wouldnt have any symptoms this early...I
think its all in ur head. Maybe you're
just stressed and thats whats made u miss
your period. Just wait it out, im sure
your period will come.

The answer to you will be the same as the
answer to every single other post on this
topic.
A first response test can be taken upto 4
days before your period is due - most
others will be from the day you are due.
The box for your specific test will give
you the details of how soon you can take
it.
Also you can not have pregnancy symptoms
until you are pregnant.
2 weeks before your period you are likely
to be ovulating - pregnancy occurs about
10 days after ovulation (when conception
and implantation have occured) - before
this you are not pregnant and do not make
the hcg hormone and therefore can not have
pregnancy symptoms.

You can have pregnancy symptoms and not be
pregnant. That happens when you really
want to be pregnant and when your tring to
get pregnant. Alot of the pregnancy
symptoms are pms symptoms too. Just wait
till you miss your period or take the hpt
test 3days before the day your period is
due. Good luck!!

Got to agree the nausea 2 weeks prior is
not due to pregnancy.....And many women
dont show a postive early on. Take
another test in a few days !

Just thought I would let you guys know, I
took an htp and I am definitely pregnant.
I guess it just took a few extra days for
the hormone to show up. My period was
already four days late. I am so ecstatic
though. Thanks for all your comments
though.
