I know this question might seem kind of out there, but is it safe to intentionally skip the green pills and go right on to the brown ones if you just want a break from having a period?

The very first time you try and skip a period may not be successful, and infact, most women are not ... Many women will have weeks of spotting before their body gets used to a skipped period.

Triphasic pills, like the one you are on, are not reccomended to skip periods with. Monophasic pills are reccomended, and they are much more effective for skipping a period.

You can try and skip a period, but it is likely it may not work, and you will have spotting for a few weeks.
