Q: Always Bleeding Since Smear a Month Back

2 days after my smear, I bled quite a lot, even passing massive clots for 2 weeks. I finally went to my gyno, who tested me for infections etc and gave me 3 antibiotics and 2 bleeding tablets. After a while I stopped bleeding except for a little bit when I pee. Again that went away. Me and my partner has since been doing foreplay, but now i'm getting blood straight after I orgasm which doesn't really last long but i'm now a little worried. I'm on the depo provera pill injection so i'm wondering if that may have anything to do with it.
I also think now that I have thrush or some sort coz I have yellow discharge and quite itchy.
Anyone know what any of this may be?
Thanks.

Welcome to ehealth! Iam not a dr but it sounds like you might have an infection, you should see your dr and if you are still bleeding think about getting a second opinion. You might want to back off of sexuntil you find out what is going on. You can also talk to a pharmacist.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply! I forgot to mention, my results on wednesday came back clear. This is why I don't understand why all this is happening.

You should at least call them and talk to them and tell them what has happened since the smear. If blood is coming from your urine too you might have a urinary tract infection, you can always call your regular dr and get a urinalysis, something does not sound right, I am not a dr but it sounds like you have some type of infection or have you changed laundry detergents lately, maybe someone else might have some more information about this as I have never been on depo provera.
Good luck!
