Hey,
it has been awhile since your message was posted but I would like to suggest that you get second and third opinions, if neccessary. Another doctor may be able to find something or know something that your doctor does not know.
I saw several doctors and even went to the emergency room twice because I was having heart palputations and rapid heart rates of up to 160 beats a minute when I was sedintary. My left arm would tingle and my fingers would go numb. It scared me. Some of them did ekg's on me and they all listened to my heart. All of these doctors said I had anxiety attacks and put me on zanax and anti-depressants. 10 years later I went to work for a cardiolodists office as a receptionist and was still having problems so I spoke to one of the nurses who suggested that I see one of our cardiologist. So I did. They did an echocardiogram and found that I had two of the four valves in my heart were prolapsed. Later I find out that my mother and my grandmother(which live there in alabama) both have the same problem. It is hereditary. But the cardiologist said that the other Dr.'s were not trained to hear the sounds he can hear when listening to a heart.
I had given up thinking I was crazy as all these dr's had basically told me. I am glad I went to yet one more Dr. And finally found out the truth. Now my symptoms are minimal and I am going to be fine.
I wish you good luck on your journey and hope you get the answers you and your husband need.Maybe you already have.
