We named our first son after his father .Brian .Allan(i wanted .Brandon .James).

My mother had a thing for the name .Jordan, so we let her name our second son. His middle name, what I thought was one of the main characters from 'jeepers creepers' lol, .Darrian(i think it's .Darius in the movie though).

.Jersey we fell upon reading some baby names online(i believe). Emma is my husbands grandmothers name(mother side), and .Marie is my mothers middle name.

.Jersey .Emma-.Marie Smile

Well... The name reese was just kinda pulled outta nowhere.. Has no meaning, but we both agreed that we liked it so thats what we chose... And for his middle name william, it kinda goes in shawns family, shawns middle name is william, his dads middle name is william, and his grandpas middle name is william, so I just thought it would be nice for his family to keep it going...

We had a short list of girls names that we really liked, and decided on .Olivia when we found out we were having a girl. But I didn't want a trendy name (it's on the top 10 baby name list) because I don't want her to have, like, 40 people in her class with the same name. So we used an alternative spelling for her (.Alyvia), and I love that her name is unique.

Plus, .Olivia makes me think of olives. I hate olives. Confused

We were going to name our baby .Dexter .Finn but the more I said it outloud and the more I thought about it I realized I loved .Finn so we changed his first name to that. Then I thought .Finn wasn't enough of a name and it was more of a nickname so we picked .Finnegan, and everyone we tell loves it (nobody liked .Dexter). His middle name is .Seamus (shay-muss, in case anyone doesn't know how to pronounce that) which is gaelic for .James and .James is my dad's name. I'm irish so we went with a very irish name, unfortunately his last name doesn't really go because it's dutch but it still sounds okay.

My daughter will be here in .January and .I'm naming her .Mc.Kinnley .Chase ...Mc.Kinnley came out of nowhere I guess. I just heard it somewhere and fell in love with it. Chase is my little cousin's middle name. His name is .Weston .Chase.

If she would've been a boy, I was going to name her .Brantly .Barrett. .Brantly was a guy I used to work with last yr at .Tommy .Hilfiger...We became pretty good friends and I .L.O.V.E.D his name. Barrett is my grandma's maiden name and I thought it went well with .Brantly.

We couldn't agree on names at all.
After i'd started having pains during my pregnancy .Steve took me on a trip out to .Cadbury .World to make me feel better.
After our trip round the chocolate factory we were buying souvenirs and they had a stand of keyrings with names on so we were working our way through the list seeing what we liked and we both liked 0liver and .Reece.

We were really conscious that we didn't want a "new fashioned" or "alternative spelling of new fashioned" name and also that the initials wouldn't spell anything odd.

Just think .Mr & .Mrs .Green have a daughter and call her .Penny .Imogen - nice enough name but the initials spell pig - imagine dealing with that in the playground?!?! Shocked

so, yeah 0liver came from a keyring stand.

seamus finnegan is a character from the .Harry .Potter books! Did you know that? Well anyways, you're doing it the other way around. Finnegan seamus, I like it.

I thought I would have named my baby .Rowan whether it was a boy or a girl. Though I also liked thea a lot ( a character in a book I loved when I was little ). The other candidate names were sophia, nadia and jamie. I don't know why I loved those three so much, but I use to babysit these 5 brothers and sisters and those were 3 of their names, so I guess associating them with children I really liked made me love the names!

Sometimes I still look and think about names and stuff, and I also really like, sage, paisley, mckenna, and josie.

is a good topic!!

I picked my daughters name (elisa-jade ) after two of my best friends in highschool. As for my son they told us it was going to be a girl so we were going name (her at the time) camille -garnet and well found out later it was a boy and we went through like 20 names before we went to the root of cam. In the end we liked the nick name cam/c.J.
We also had to pick names of a spanish base as my family is italian, his is filipino and were were tyring to find a middle route.

someone else told me that a while back but i'd forgotten all about it until you brought it up again. I don't think too many people know about that character though so i'm hoping people don't think that's where we got it. I like harry potter just as much as the next person but i'm not about to name my child after one of his friends! I think nick actually picked seamus and while I love it I just didn't like it as a first name. I really like irish names, for our next boy (i know, i'm thinking ahead) i'm hooked on .Killian.
