Testicular Pain
Posted: 10-27-06 21:37pm

First off I want to thank this site for letting me post my question..

My name is steve i'm a 48 year old white male who in early 2002 started developing left testicular pain..

After numerous trips to the doctor and being diagnosed with everything from uniary tract infections to cancer I finally found a doctor who seemed to think he could help me..

I've went the usual route with medications ( I spent almost 3 years straight on cipro) numerous testicular ultrasounds, mri, xray, and the usual blood tests and prostate massage which they said revealed ureaplasma, ( mayo clinic) which the current doctor stated was an incorrect diagnosis.

The doctor suggested a orchidoplasty ( I believe is the name) as the doctor stated he thought I was suffering from a type of torsion..

The initial surgery went well, but then I developed bleeding which required another surgery, then after than an infection which required yet another surgery, then weeks of packing, I ended up with 4 surgeries in 5 weeks...

The end result,

no help in my origional problem I still suffer from acute left testicular pain but since the surgery I now have burning in the left testicle..

The doctor has stated that he can do nothing more for me, and now my daily diet consists of vicodin and other pain killers, and it's pretty much disabled me..

Crying
or Very sad Crying
or Very sad

any help would greatly be appreciated, this has pretty much ruined my life

thanks for your time

steve
