I'm new to ehealth forum I noticed some girls come here to ask questions. Well I was taking tri-cyclen lo and it made me very sick so I completed one pack and haven't continued taking them. I started my period on sept. 12 and ended sept.18 and here it is the 27th of oct. And I haven't had a period yet, is that normal. Is it safe for me to have sex unprotected? Embarassed

If you are not using birth control and do not wish to become pregnant, the answer is no, it is not 'safe' to have unprotected sex.

One of the side effects of birth control is a queasy feeling. It should go away after a few months.

If you are concerned you may be pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test. If you have been having unprotected sex, there is a possibility you are pregnant.

I was using that type of pill and I was just like you I was throwing it up all the time and it just made me feel like crap! When you just stop taking birth control alot of the times your body is just trying to get back to it's normal state. If I were you I wouldn't have sex until you get your period. If it doesn't come by the end of the month then I would go to the doc to make sure everything is ok.
