how many months has it been since the periods have been irregular? Three, four months? Or less? If it has been 2 months at least, then a pregnancy test would be showing up positive if you were pregnant. Are you taking any form of contraceptive pills? I'm assuming not, since your periods are irregular. Are you and your partner(s) using any form of barrier protection (condom, diaphragm, etc)? Did you just become sexually active around the time school started?

I would take a drive to a local clinic and have them do a blood test and check for anything else that may cause abnormal cycles.

unfortnately, I don't know if the lass can drive yet, or if she has the money to pay for a blood test.
