Q: Triglycerides And Fruit! Dangerous?

I have been doing searches on the net and getting mixed reports. Basically, I want to know are fruits good for you are not, when you have high triglycerides? Is it confirmed one way or the other. What do various heart associations suggest? Is there anyone here with expertise in this area that can give advice please.

Thanks

I understand that fruit is bad for the triglycerides...a close family friend who is a cardiologist said the sugar in fruit is generally detrimental for the heart however it would be good to double check.
