I've just got back from the hospital. I saw a midwife and had a routine antenatal check (even though I only had one yesterday), and then I saw the doctor.. Who has told me that because there's less amniotic fluid than normal I have to go into hospital twice a week from now til delivery to have .C.T.G monitoring done. That's on top of going in every two weeks for scans and midwife appointments. I can't seem to get away from that place!

Good news though.. My blood tests revealed nothing abnormal, so at least I don't have to worry about that.

Yay for everything being normal! It does suck that you have to go in so many times but its for a good reason and just think,it wont be forever!

Its where they put a strap around your belly will a circle thing on it which records your babies heartbeat.
They also but another one round you which measures contractions.

Oh, I see. They put one of those on me when I was in labor. But the little nurse that strapped it to me the first time put the strap too tight, and I had a *welt* where the sensor was! And later on when they moved it, .Alyvia kept kicking at it. Talk about tender!

At least the blood tests came back fine. That sounds like so many appointments geez, but its better to be safe. I was sick of just the usual ones by the end. Goodluck!

we call that a non stress test here. I've had to go in weekly for them for since I was put on bedrest. I kind of like it because I get to lay there and listen to his heartbeat for 20 minutes straight, it's soothing.
