Oh lord ladies. Oni is teething again! She's down here scooting backwards in her walker and trying to *rip* her ear off. That's what she did while teething.

I rub the pressure points on her ears for her everyday. She passes out when I press the right one! Confused

So, i'm baking a cake. I whip it up and put it in a pan. Well apparently the pan I chose was *too small*!! So i'm standin there making bottles and i'm smellin burnt cake. So I open the oven and my cake is like an *huge* souflee(sp?) and it's spillin onto the bottom!!!! So I took it out and busted the top. Then I poured it into a bigger pan.

In the mean time, the smoke is *pouring* out of the stove!!! And the smoke alarm goes off!!! The dogs were freaking out and nana(oni) was screeching as loud as she possible could. Of course.

Jesus...All because I wanted to bake a cake for my man! Embarassed

whew....What an ordeal!!!!

Sarah

Lucas is teething aswell, I can see 3 more coming in and hes just got the first 2! Feel sorry for them, it must really hurt.

Lol I hate my oven, it always sets the damn smoke alarm off! I bought a cheap oven and the inside paint keeps breaking off, so it lays on the bottom inside it and burns! Then when you're cooking something, you open the oven door and all this smoke comes out! Its true you get what you pay for...Next time i'll spend more on one if I can. Iv'e had things catch on fire a couple times in it too...That wasnt the ovens fault tho haha

Oh be careful that the burning/smoking paint doesn't have toxins that could affect your food or something.

Report it to the store you got it from - tell them it's defective and you want a new one.

Im feeling you sara, cam just popped out 3 teeth and now hes getting pretty miserable so were wondering if there is more to come. If cam is really bad I will give him motrin at bedtime to help him sleep but I cope with him being miserable the rest of the day lol!!

Another thing I found worked wonders is bananas they actuall work something to chew on,healthy and they love it!

Not much point kia, they would only replace it with the same one I bought, and thats most likely why theres a problem with it cos it was a cheap crappy one. I call it my satanic oven lol it scares me!

mmm but they then replace it - it happens again - you then give them a right moan at.

Tell them it might be cheap but should still be safe and functional and then demand a more expensive one at no extra cost due to all the hassle you have had to put up with because of their sub-quality products.

On the flip side it might have been one duff oven and the new one would be fine.
My nan's oven was £140 from focus (the cheapest oven of the lot) and to be honest it's been great.
