Ok, I know this sounds dumb, but I am confused. I usually get my period around the 28th of each month. What type of cycle would I have? 32 day cycle?

count the days between the first day of your last period and the first day of your next period. Take an average for the year and that is how long your cycle is.

you need to realize that not every month has 30 days. You need to count the days starting day 1 of your period to day 1 of your next to determine exactly how long your cycles are. I had an average of 27 days and used to get my period anywhere between 26-28 days.
