Is it painful? It could possibly be a boil, which is a huge pimple that becomes filled with pus, usually as a result of infection of the hair follicle. Actually, something similar happened to me about a year ago..On the back of my upper thigh. A whole lof of whitish pus came out (i know, it's gross)..
I would say the best thing to do is to get this checked out by a dermatologist.. By looking at it they can let you know what it is.
Try not to touch the area- you may want to put neosporin and a band-aid over it. If it bothers you, is painful, or gets worse, see a dermatologist. Hope this helps.

I have had the same problems...Actually mine are around where my panty line runs..Up my inner thigh area. I went to a dermatologist and she said they are called hiaradinitis suppurativa (probably misspelled all of that lol). They are infected hair follicles under the skin. She said I get them from shaving downstairs... But that is not true b/c I am 33 weeks pregnant and can't even see to shave downstairs and I still get a few every once in a blue moon. She said to just shave in the same direction the hair grows....So I dunno???!!!!

Yup sounds like, infected hair follicles that can turn into boils.
One common cause is shaving because when you shave you leave a hard end on the hair instead of the natural "fine point" and this can result in the hair growing under the skin instead (in grown hair).

Your doctor maybe able to help the healing process or may just tell you to keep it clean and use an antibacterial cream on it - doctors differ in their opinons so it's best to get the advice from your own health care professional.

Usually once they burst, so long as the gunk all come sout and you clean it well and disinfect/use anti-baterial ointment it should be fine.
If it doesn't clear within a couple days, gets bigger quickly, is painful, bleeds or keeps coming back then definately see your health care professional.
