Someone had said something below somewhere but I could't remember though. Here are a list of some things that can, how to say, stir things up but have no effect on blood sugar levels. There are a number of herbs out there that supposedly have similar effects, but before taking them make sure to research their effects on blood sugar before taking anything. Here are the ones I recommend.

If you're severe, there's really only one:

1. Saw palmetto. Supposedly to have tons of benefits. Shrinks enlarged prostates, regulates testoerone in men and estrogen in women, all around good with no effects on blood sugar. Supposed to make you pee a lot though so don't overdo it.

If you're not severe and able to handle things like cayenne or ginger with no noticeable problems:

2. Red clover is supposedly very good for this and the research isn't totally out on whether it effects blood sugar levels, but it's supposed to lower it a bit so severe cases should exercise caution, but you could always try it.

3. Nettle, another good one but supposedly can lower sugar.

4. Garlic, the most potent for men (i don't think it works so hot for women). It stimulates the hormone glands and gets things in order, but it does have a significant lowering effect, so severe cases should stay away from it. Also stimulates the nervous system, in particular some very important nerves for men (and possible women).

There you go!
