a Couple of Questions On Tuberculosis' Transmission

First of all, i'm curious if the patients in the tuberculosis department are allowed to get visitors, and if so is there any requirement for it? Such as you have to be a family member, etc...
Also, can you get infected with tuberculosis from an overload of vaccines? If so, how many?
can someone tell me of other ways one could get tuberculosis that one should be aware of? My friend's cousin got infected recently and he had no idea how it happened.
