Me and my boyfriend are trying to have a baby.... We tryed last month but I started my period and I never got pregnant.... After my period ended this month we had sex that morning and that night after my period ended.... I only had my period for 2 days... I stared the 16th in the morning and I ended the 18th in the afternoon..... I was wondering would I still be ovulateing after my period? Were still trying now... Some people say it's best to try after day 14 but I dont know....... My sister told me that if you only haves one or two periods thats means you dont ovulate.... That scared me... I was wondering if that was true....

What do you mean 1 or 2 periods? How old are you? Don't be worried if you've only been trying for one month, it usually takes a 3-6 months for the average couple sometimes longer. And you ovulate about 14 days after you start your period so that it uaually the best time to try. There are fertility kits that can help you determine when.

I was watching some show on reproduction on the discovery health channel and they said there's only an 18 hour window each month to conceive. Pretty amazing that anyone gets pregnant...

It takes time, have patience.

Seriously, its so weird to think about!
There's such a little time period when you can get pregnant.
&.Some people are just really on the ball... Lol.

Like the one time in .June that .Chris &.I had sex after my miscarriage got me pregnant!

It's incredible how, for lack of a better word, lucky some people are.

It amazes me too.

We decided in .November to try having a baby. Two weeks later I had my positive preggy test.

How often does that happen? Shocked

it was like .God overheard us and said ".It sounds like you mean it. Here you go!"

My husband and I used condoms the whole month of january b/c we decided to wait for a few months. Well the day my period was suppose to start we didn't wear one b/c we thought we were "safe" and I got pregnant that day. I ovulated 32 days after the first day of my period instead of 12 or 14 or whatever it is.

You guys are lucky! It took us what seemed like forever. 8 months the first time and 4 months after my miscarriage. Hopefully the next time around will be easier.
