Me and my boyfriend are trying to have a baby.... We tryed last month but I started my period and I never got pregnant.... After my period ended this month we had sex that morning and that night after my period ended.... I only had my period for 2 days... I stared the 16th in the morning and I ended the 18th in the afternoon..... I was wondering would I still be ovulateing after my period? Were still trying now... Some people say it's best to try after day 14 but I dont know....... My sister told me that if you only haves one or two periods thats means you dont ovulate.... That scared me... I was wondering if that was true....

Well your most fertile time is supposed to be **on day 14** of your cycle. Of course, that would be if every woman was perfect and had perfect 28 day cycles. Everyone has a different period, but if you get an opk (ovulation predictor kit) and test from days 10 or 11 to 17 or 18, you should detect your lh surge which happens right before you ovulate. The tests are quite similar to hpts. If your periods are regularly very short and regular, your hormones still may be doing what they should be doing. If you are concerned, go see your gyn. Best of luck to you!
