I am 18 weeks pregnant. For the past week of so when I lay down at night and lay my hand on my stomach I can feel something hit my stomach. I was just wondering if this was the baby? A lot of people have told me that I shouldn't feel it moving yet and this is my first baby so I was just wondering? By the way, I find out if it's a boy or girl on november 8th and I am really excited!!!!
Thanks everyone for any help

Most likly it is. I been feeling my babys kicks from the inside since 14 wks. And I think I was around 18-19 wks when could feel her from the outside. Everybody is different. Some people will tell you that its not your baby but how would they know? They arent the ones feeling it lol. Good luck with your pregnancy! Smile

I started feeling my baby move rather early to.. I think it was around 16 weeks... If you were thiner before getting pregnant, this could be the reason as to why you can feel the baby early...

I started to feel the first movements around 12 weeks. I was told it was too early to feel anything, so I just assumed it was muscle twitches (which was what it felt like). But they continued and now that I know what it is supposed to feel like, I know that it was the baby.

I swear my darling is going to be a dancer. I feel him/her practising shakira moves all day and night. Sometimes i'll feel these really hard kicks and i'll just start giggling like a crazy person. I happened while I was in a business meeting yesterday and I felt silly, but it just feels so precious.

It's probably your baby saying 'hi'. Enjoy!
