I've had tmj for so long that I can't remember if I ever thought it was cancer or a tumor, etc. I think it is very hard to really grasp the fact that the jaw joints can affect the body so much. I think I do finally understand this "dysfunction" finally after all these years. It can be very frustrating and depressing, to say the least. The internet and support sites have been a god-send. This particular forum is not a support site so much as informational.

Omg. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I always thought that. Until I realized tmj was causing the symptoms!!!!!!!!! Its amazing how much a little joint can affect the body.
