Q: Results of Pregnancy Test

Is it possible to take two prenancy test and both of them came out pos. And not be pregnant? I have three more days before I get my period and iam scared that maybe the pos. Results werent right.

I hate to say this, but the results were probably very accurate. A pregnancy test is usually on wrong when the results are negative, because it hasn't detected the hormones yet, but when a pregnancy test results are positive, it has detected the pregnancy hormone, which 99% of the time is correct. Even if there is a faint line, it means your pregnancy hormone levels are low, but they are in fact there. I hope everything goes well, good luck.

A false positive is unlikely. Two false positives is almost impossible.

Thank you for your responses. It makes me feel better I want to be pregnant. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who since she was two has been asking for a brother or a sister. Thanks again

Congratulations! When I was pregnant my test showed very faint to begin with too - but baby was most definitely there! Laughing
