Q: What Do U Think of This Letter 2 My Mom?

A lil' context, I am 16, I have been preggo once before but I miscarried relatively early on. At 13 I really wanted to be pregnant, which is y I am so adament that I didn't want this in the letter, that also has to do with the reference to a few yrs ago....

Dear mom,

you know how you always say that we can work things out when we talk? Well, I need to tell you something…i am pregnant. I know I am a huge disappointment to you. I feel really guilty because it seems as though ever since I was born all I have been is trouble. I am sorry, I am not what you envisioned or prayed for in a daughter. I know I have failed to live up to your standards many times. I am so sorry; I know this is not a good thing. I swear I did not want this to happen, I did not try to get pregnant! I know you might not believe me, but I really did not want this to happen. However, there is now a child growing inside me, my child, your grandchild. I know you have always said if I got pregnant I have to give it up for adoption. I don’t know what I will do yet, for sure. I can not kill this child, it is part of me whether I want it or not. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and I hope you can love me and this child. I know I am young, but I was thinking I might keep this child. Now, I realize you have dreams for me, like going to college and meeting a man, ect. I have an idea, I can do home schooling until he/she is old enough to go to daycare, and then I can continue regular school. Or maybe I can enroll in a school that allows teen mothers to bring their children. I know you wanted more for me and I wish I was more of what you wanted in a daughter. I will take all responsibility for taking care of the child, I will be the one to get up in the night when he/she wakes up, and I will feed him/her and change the diapers. I know you will ask how I plan on paying for the supplies I need, I admit I can not pay for these things for very long on my own, but I will get a job asap. This might sound cowardly to you, but maybe if I get in a bind I can get help from various organizations and social services. I will not make you support my child, because I know you don’t want to, but if you are willing, I would love to live at home still. I know we will eventually have to talk about this in person, and I know I will need to be stronger for this child, but right know I am too ashamed to face you, so tonight I will stay at aunt laurie’s. If you need to talk to me, you can call there. The father is blank, you probably don’t remember him, he was one of the men from a few years ago. I know this probably disgusts you, that I would still be in contact with him, much less sleeping with him. I know it was immoral and I am so sorry. I knew better, I am just a weak person I guess. I am sorry, can you forgive me? Are you willing to help me? I know you are probably angry with me and I don’t blame you at all. I love you so much, mom! I only wish my child will love me a much as I love you. I know you’ve had a really hard year and I am sorry to add this to it, but this child is coming whether we are ready or not. I am very sorry, and I love you so much!

Sorry, but I have no respect for anyone that got pregnant on purpose at such a young age, little girl your life hasn't even started yet...And you have no idea what you just got yourself into too. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but weren't you just asking about social services with the benefits? You got yourself in this mess so fix it yourself..Girls like you dont even need to get benefits because it's a waiste. Your from missouri right? Well so am i...And here they wont give you foodstamps or any type of benefits unless your 18 except .W.I.C.

I don't understand why girls your age want to just ruin your life to have a baby when you have your whole life to do it, and with someone you really love and are married too. You may think your in love now, but like I said, your so young and I doubt you even know what love is. I am ashamed to live in this world, seriously....There are so many stupid young girls out there it makes makes me sick.

I didnt read your letter but if you wanted a baby at 13 I think you have some serious emotional problems, and a baby isnt going to fix those. I think you need counseling. You have no idea what youre in for with a baby.

At 13, the last thing on my mind was having a baby. I was too busy going to the skating rink and having fun with my friends.

See all the problems you have now though girl? You could have waited for a baby when you were married but you couldn't keep your legs closed and now you have all these issues with your mom which could of been avoided. It's stupid and pathetic and if you never thought about those things I think you do need help, especially getting knocked up on purpose and trying to get benefits from the state. You need to grow up and quit thinking about yourself.

If you have the courage to want a kid at thirteen and be pregnant now, work up the courage to tell your mum to her face. Your acting like a little kid. Grow up. Im sorry if I sound mean but your in for alot and your going to have to grow up..Fast now that you have a baby on the way.

So .I don't get it. When you were 13 you wanted to be pregnant.... When did you miscarry? Did you get pregnant this time on purpose?

Either way.. Good luck with your life.. You're in for a rude awakening. What are you going to do if your mom won't support you? What if she kicks you out? Where will you go? Like .Dalicia said, in .Missouri the "benefits" you were relying on aren't available to you for a few years. Do you work? Have you ever even had a job? How are you going to pay for diapers, formula, clothes, toys, health care, hospital bills, etc.?

I don't understand how anyone so young could want this kind of responsibility so early on in their life. I'm 20 &pregnant.. &.I know people older than me who aren't even ready for kids.

Girl, you can kiss your life goodbye. Because this child is now the only thing that's ever gonna matter. No more friends, no more movies, no more sleepovers, no more mall, no more going out to eat with friends, no more staying up late on the weekends, no more hours of watching tv or sitting on the computer...

Think about it.

&.Get ready.

are you stupid too?

It's pretty simple, if you don't want to get pregnant use protection and if you do then don't use protection.

That post asking about birth control was from 2005. Still fishy though.

Here's a funny post I found by her.

maybamum wrote:

I was just gonna point that out .Tanya.

I don't know.

It seems weird.

It's just sad she's expecting someone else to pay for her kid.

Yeah in 2005 she made a post saying how her parents were going to kick her out and asking about if she could take her baby with her into foster care and what benefits she could get. I mean come on. A year ago when she supposedly had her "scare" she already thought about all this crap she's complaining about now. Geez. Some people. Anyways, I read through most of her previous posts and i'm convinced she's fake anyway.
In some of them from 2005 she asks about how long until she can feel the baby moving, and in others she tells about how it was a close call but the test came out negative. Whatevs!
