So you figure that your period has started only when you go to change the tampon - it's still white - what happened? Where did it go?
You figure it must have just been a little bit of spotting maybe.
So then the next day you figure this really is your period. Only when you go to change the the tampon is still mostly white - where did it go again?

This goes on for like 6 days? I mean come on is that not just taking the pee a little.

After all from the age of 9-27 i've had a cycle that was 26 days long and bled for 3 days. Nothing and I mean nothing, except pregnancy has messed them up before (and then they stopped completely).

And now suddenly for the past couple months it's ben a case of 35-40 days apart and then this random I might bleed, I might not for 6 days.
I don't want to take a test. I don't feel pregnant, I just want to moan about by kookie periods.

If by some miracle I am pregnant (i do not feel pregnant, I don't think I am) then I don't wanna know. Every time I find out I am pregnant it's like I jinx it, so i'd rather not know and then maybe it wouldn't be jinxed. But yeah I don't think that's the case anyway.

Grrrrrr I just want my normal happy predictable periods back.
I spoke to my doctor when they first messed up and he said (no exam) not to worry unless the bleeding got bad - what bleeding?

Ok vent over - feel free to yell at me Smile

Well fi you don't want to find out, take prenatals anyway just in case and for not bleeding,go to the obgyn and tell them you want a pap or soemthing so they can see whats wrong with your period! Its not good girl.I have to go to see whats wrong with mine.Ever since I got off the shot,i've had about 5 'periods' in 2 months!

Aw I understand how you must be feeling. It is good to have regular periods just so you know everything is working properly.

I think you should take a test hun. You said its been like this for a few months so maybe you are out of the all important 12 week marker already.

Have you had unprotected sex in the last few months?

mmm not exactly - I was almost 19 weeks when we lost 0liver.

I really don't think I am and if I am I don't wanna know lol I wanna be like one of those people who claims they didn't know anything until they went to pee and out fell a baby Shocked

but I really don't feel pregnant. But then other than knowing I was pregnant and having sore boobs and major tiredness I didn't "feel" pregnant with 0liver. Ah who knows. I guess i'll find out one day - but it won't be today.

Unprotected sex??? Of course lmao - i've been nowhere near a condom for about 5 years lol

i really think my body is just screwed up for some reason. Not sure what but something.
Ok so i'm overweight but other than that i'm reasonably healthy, eat a varied diet, do a bit of exercise, get some fresh air, take my vitamins, etc.

Well .I'll keep my fingers crossed for a pregnancy, .Kia. But in the meantime, who knows? I was always told not to use tampons if you're not bleeding very much, so maybe you should switch to pads for the next few days? Or use a really low absorbancy?

Kia, I understand about not wanting to test. I think it works boths ways because you don't want to jinx things if you are pregnant but, also, you don't really want to know if you're not. At least this way you can hold it close to yourself like a warm secret and hope that you are pregnant without anything to burst your bubble.

Yeah i've always had mini tampons because I only ever had a light flow anyway.
But because it was still clean(?)/white lol I didn't use another one, just a pantyliner incase.

I guess what I have at the back of my mind is premature ovarian failure.
But then I do not have hot flushes/flashes, night sweats, and I am no more moody or irritable than normal (less so if any thing).

*bangs head on desk*

lol

*if* i'm pregnant (which I doubt) I don't wanna know.
*if* it's the menopause I still don't wanna know.

I want to be an ostrich!

Poor .Kia Sad .I'm still thinking positive thoughts for you!

Maybe you could ask your obgyn for an exam, and if he/she asks if you could be pregnant, say it's a possibility? I mean, if it turns out to be something a bit serious, you would want to know, right?

Oh darling I really hope you are pregnant. I understand about not wanting to know. I was nearly 3 weeks further on than you so I guess 12 weeks isn't a magic marker. I'm scared to ever get pregnant again after losing our little girl and definatley know I won't have any more kids.

Remember, not every pregnancy is the same. Just because you lost one baby doesn't mean it will happen again./ you need to think positive my darling because this time you might be fine.

I'm sure they will keep a closer eye on you this time (if you are) because of your previous pregnancy.

Please take a test so you can get checked out asap!

but I don't think I am.
I understand what you're saying but I really really don't think I am.
Surely if I was then i'd know by now because my last "normal" period was...
*goes to check*
april 24th which would put me at 25 weeks or so - I really think i'd know by now if I was, wouldn't i?

Reasons I don't think i'm pregnant.
*i still have periods - kind of well ok odd spotting for several days each month.
*i'd be over 1/2 way.
*i don't feel pregnant.
*i haven't felt any movements, but I do get odd crampy feelings like a period about to start (but at anytime).

four, becks, not one.
I'd rather not discuss the first, 0liver was my second pregnancy, I also had an ectopic (non tubal) and a non viable pregnancy.

oh my god kia, i'm sorry I didn't realise.

If you suspect you are preganant then it is even more vital that you take a test cause of your past history to make sure everything is ok with the baby
