Oh my! Hey lilipad. You and I got pregnant at the same time. Any reason why you are having a c-section and why have they scheduled it so early you are not due for another month.
I am due on november 28th and waiting for my next appt and sonogram to confirm that babie's head is in a downward position and ready for delivery.
C-section-not familiar with since its my first pregnancy but my sister had a c-section and the recovery is much harder than normal delivery. You will be in pain and sore for the first couple of days and I suggest you have someone stay with you the first week or so since you wont be able to move around as much. Good luck! And all will be fine.

C-section
Hello,
yeah I had a c-section with my first child. He is almost 2 now and I am having another one planned for jan 07.
It's not so bad. You will be sore , but you will be okay. I think the scariest thing for me is the pulling and tugging I felt during surgery and hearing the stapples after when they were closing me up.

Extremely eHealthy
My due date is nov 21st and my c-section is scheduled nov 16th. I have elected to have a c-section b/c I have the genital herpes virus and have had an outbreak once already during this pregnancy.
My doctor assures me a good chance of being able to deliver vaginally but after losing my last pregnancy at five months (unrelated to herpes) I just dont want to take any chances whatsoever of harming my baby.
I was hoping id find others who are having c-sections or have had c-sections. Im nervous but then again I am sure we are all nervous no matter how we plan to give birth!!
