Has anyone ever taken provera? Can you tell me about how it affeted you? I know what it does.. Just wanting some reassurance before taking it.

If ur talking about the shot depo provera I took it for about nine months the only side affects I had from that were that it stopped my period the entire time and of course due to that I put on a little weight but nothing to major.

From someone who cant wait to have a jelly bean all of their own

No this is provera... It is a hormone to start up your period. She prescribed 10 days for me. Usually followed by clomid but I don't think we have been ttc long enough for clomid. Doc is supposed to call me back today about that.

im also using Provera
im taking provera for 10 days because i have thick tissue that is lineing my uterin wall, im almost possitive im having contractions
