You need to talk to a counselor. This is not something you can handle on your own. And the longer it goes on, the more damage you will do to your body. We're talking about *permanent* damage, and it will affect you for the rest of your life. This isn't just an innocent thing to lose a bit of weight, this is neglecting your body of the nourishment it needs to keep you moving, breathing, thinking. It will find that nourishment somewhere, even if it has to break itself down. This damage is not reversable.

You should try to concentrate more on getting help on this and less on dieting. I know that's hard because it's all you think about, but you *need* *help*. And you need it now. Talk to your school counselor, or maybe a teacher. They can put you in contact with someone that can help you.

It's all inside our minds... That's why it's so hard to deal with these kinds of problems. It begins with the whole society prototiping this ridiculous concept of female beauty and it ends with the death of so many of us...
But together we can overcome that, I know so.

i know... I'm dealing with this now. I've been sick, intestinal problems, and huge constipation. So my weight rose a few pounds, like 4 pounds. It's creeping me, i'm killing my head and my nerves over this and I don't kno what else to do or think about, because it's constantly coming to my mind...

a Little Bit of Help
I don't know if the two of you will feel any better from this, but I joined this site after being released from an inpatient clinic treating eating disorders and self injury. I am 23 5'6" and 120-125 lbs. I have an eating disorder. I also have a personal trainer. I am extremely muscular and most people would say I have the ideal body. However, I have recently become obsessed with loosing weight and restricting. Despite what my trainer says and I already know, women fluctuate up to 10 lbs a month due to water retention associated with our menstraul cycles. Therefore my constant weighing of myself is inacurate. I fluctuate between 120-125 lbs all day long. I know the feeling that you have and I have a hard time staying away from the scale as well. I learned from the clinic about how bloated you get when you finally do start eating, but this is so temporary compared to the long term damage you will cause not eating. When you starve your body you cause it to convert everything that you do eat into fat, whereas if you eat healthy foods in smaller portions you keep your body metabolizing all day and utilizing the nutrients correctly. Then excercize to burn uneccessary fat. I don't know, maybe I am rambling or being a know it all, maybe you don't want to hear any of this or already no this information and that doesn't helup you. It doesn't always help me either, but I find that rationalizing brings me back down to earth when I feel no hope and want to starve myself. Let me know if you want me to shut up or if you find this helps you Smile

hhi, how are you doing? I'm trying to eat more and to do four meals a day. And you? Aren't you exercising too much? And how's your eating? You can do your abs and push-ups at home while you're watching a movie or so, but you don't need to do a lot of them to be fit.
And what size do you think that someone who's 5'1 should be? You can be mistaken about that...
Get better, kisses.
