Chronic Hbv Carrier

Hello,

just wanted to know how many of you have hbv and what tx have you been taking? I have been diagnosed a 1 1/2 ago with chronic hbv and figures this was passed on to me at birth. I have stage 2 fibrosis. I was on epivir for 1 year and it did not do a thing for me except give me migraines 4x a week. My doctor is going to put me on something new. He hasn't prescribed me anything yet since he wants to talk to the drug company to find out more information about it and what dosage to give me. Also I am confused on some of my blood work. Back on 4-2002 it states hbv dna (copies/ml): 5817065 and now it is 910000. That number seems to have come down significantly but back on 7-1-03 my alpah fetoprotein tumor marker is at 14.2 and now it's at 15.9. Why would one number go up and the other go down?
