Shocked hello everyone,
for the past two to three months i've been having hot flashes, and my doctor and I assumed I was starting menopause. Then this weekend I found this forum and read that a lot of women have hot flashes as an early pregnancy sign, so I took a test on saturday and wow, I found out I am pregnant!

I am 43, and would be 44 at delivery, plus have high blood pressure which I take a beta blocker for, so I am praying and hoping and wishing so very hard that this pregnancy lasts and that the baby is healthy. I have three kids, 16, 8, and 4, and when I was 40 I got pregnant and was ecstatic, but then miscarried at seven weeks, so I am so afraid to get excited or happy. I called kaiser and am trying to get an ultrasound to date my pregnancy, since I really have no idea how pregnant I am, since my last few periods were irregular.

I could really use some words of encouragement if anyone out there has the time! Thank you so very much, and good luck with all of your pregnancies!

Suzette

Wow! What a blessing! I know that you are worried, but try to just enjoy the place that you are in and go with the flow. I will keep you in my prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby. I am sure that you will do just great!
