Q: Deep Cough And Thick White Sputum

Have been to 4 doctors and they say I have or had whooping cough this has lasted 5 weeks and the cough is not getting much improved, I cough and almost black out and at times not every time there are spots of blood in my sputum
i am 66 years old and getting very depressed and anxious, as I am not getting much help from my doctor, says this will take 6 to 7 weeks to get over ,has any one else had this problem?

I have had the coughing problem along with my 6 month old daughter!!!! But there isn't any blood in either of ours. I actually thought my daughter had whooping cough, but her doctors keep brushing it to the side saying its just a cold. Have they done x-rays just to make sure you don't have pnemonia?

thick sputum

always trying to cough and get out a dark thick sputum and sometimes white , is that an indication for a bad disease.
