Hi, I just have a question. I was tending my cousin on saturday, he's just about 2 months old. Anyways, my aunt and her husband went out and she pumped some milk so her baby could eat. He had never had a bottle before then, I was the wonderful first to give him one! Anyways, when he would eat he made noises like he was getting too much milk when he would suck out of the bottle and to me it didn't sound very good, but then again, I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. I thought he would be fine since she said she got the bottle nipples with only one hole so he would have to suck harder. I'm just curious if the noise he was making was normal, it was kinda freaking me out! I was just thinking oh great! I'm going to be the mom who freaks out over every little thing, so I thought i'd make sure....So when I have kids haha

I'm sorry no one got to this post before, but when a baby gets a bottle for the first time, lots of things can happen...but they are all normal. Sometimes it's just the baby that needs to get used to the different shape of the nipple, and sometimes it's how you are holding the bottle. Everything gets better with practice for both of you Smile
