Hi,
i'm really confused. I've been taking the bcp for almost a year now and as usual I get my period once i'm done taking the pack. Well I stopped taking them and it's been 10 days and i'm bleeding. It looks like my period but I just had it 11 days ago and it's much heavier!! I'm really confused. Another thing is i've had unprotected sex almost everyday since my normal period. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. (could I have taken it too soon?) could someone please help me! I'm going to see the doctor soon but I just want an opinion on what it could be before. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry to much because I have had the same problem, I was on the pill and I stopped taking it and about 10 days after my regular period, I begain another one, much heavier than usual i'm not an expert, but I think its because your body is so used to taking them it might thorw it off track a bit when you stop taking them. As for the unprotected sex part, if you are worried about pregnancy then take a test and if its neg take another one about 5 days later. Good luck
