Why Am I Not Getting Pregnant?? Posted: 10-12-06 00:33am


I have been having sex for about a year now. I am currently engaged and we do have unprotected sex. I am not trying to get pregnant however I just do not get pregnant. My period skips 6 months at a time. I have not been to a doctor recently...Is there any explanations for this??

Both go to your doctor to get a full check up, tests, sperm count, ultrasound, etc. Good luck to both of you!

If your periods skip 6 months at a time then there is almost certainly a hormone inbalance with you as this would indicate that you are not ovulating. See your doctor or gyn, it might be a simple as needing to take a course of hormones to balance your system.

Try doing a google search for pcos and see if you have any of the other symptoms. Then I would make an appt with your doctor.
