Hi everyone.
Im 17 and I was wondering if it is possible to feel nausea, sore breasts, and have a missed period for two weeks and not be pregnant?
I have been stressed out with school and a lack of sleep, but isnt 2 weeks a little late?

I have also taken 4 pregnancy tests. All came out negative.
Please, any help would be amazing! Thank you

probably not pregnant after 4 negative tests - but some women do not test positive right away.

I would advise you to go to a planned parenthood near you. If you are having sex, you need birth control. They will also give a pregnancy test to your girlfriend to make sure she is not pregnant.

You both need to be protected. Wear condoms. Use the birth control pill. Be proactive for yourselves!!! Take charge of your own fertility.

Stress can delay your period, or make you miss it entirely for a month. Also, home pregnancy tests are very accurate, and the probability of getting four false negative results in a row is lower than anyone would care to imagine (unless it were an ectopic pregnancy, which would be noted with bad unilateral pelvic pain; I wouldn't consider this a possibility in your case). If you're very scared of being pregnant, your body is probably playing mean tricks on you, making you think you're pregnant, hence the symptoms. Or perhaps you have a stomach bug that's making you sick (this happened to me when I had a pregnancy scare a couple years ago).

So, to answer your question, yes it's possible to have these symptoms without sustaining a pregnancy. These symptoms could all very well be in your head as products of stress.

Thank you so much for your help!
It was very informative.
I do plan to go to planned parenthood soon.
And if I am pregnant, I dont think I would be able to support a child the way I would like to, so I dont think I would be able to carry it.
Are there any options other than abortion?
Thank you
