Q: First Month On Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo--normal Side Effects?

I'm 28. I just started ortho tri-cyclen lo this month--i'm on week 3. I've had extreme breast/nipple tenderness almost the whole month, but it seems to be getting worse now. I also seem to have food cravings and bloating. If I didn't know better, i'd think I was pregnant! Has anyone else experienced this, and does it get better?

You just got to remember that you are taking in hormones so you can expect weird stuff to go on in your body until you adjust ---just like with being pregnant, hormones do crazy things to you body. I don't think your supposed to have non-condom sex until after a full month or 2 of being on the pill...Thats what my doc said, so be careful

If the side effects are that bad then you should go to your obgyn and switch to another brand.
